    Maybe Detroit where it was born, but Berlin where it has made a home

    Berlin was the home of techno and the home of punk? Ever heard of MC5, The Stooges or Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, & Juan Atkins? Berlin may have been the German or even European home of techno and home of punk, but both genres were indisputably born in Detroit.
