Hey Randy & Jenny, nice job on the video. Looks like you enjoy a nice lifestyle! Making any money with your editing projects? Oh yeah, I'd have left out the Tom Cruise comment too...
Telluride is known for Tom Cruise? That is just plain wacky. Thanks for sharing.
Randy and Jenny - just came across your video (well done, congratulations!) and coincidentally just got back from Colorado. I enjoyed watching your video - very heartwarming! My partner and I LOVE Telluride and spent my birthday camping by the stream at the end of town. We enjoyed Ouray's hot springs, and the old mining town of Silverton, (and Durango). Did you take the train? Btw, people are still talking about the 'hardest winter they've ever had'. TC, keep up the good work, travel safe!
Hi Readynew. Glad we could inspire you guys! We basically just worked and saved up for a while before leaving. We traveled in cheap countries and bargained a lot. Traveling as a couple helps. You can share the costs of guesthouses, taxis, even meals. Eat and travel like the locals do. There will be long bus journeys and less than clean hotel rooms. But it's extremely rewarding in the end. I think we averaged $15-$20 each, per day. Hope that helps! Randy
Hey guys! I love your stuff! You've totally inspired my girlfriend and I. But we were just wondering...How'd you guys afford it? I mean, two years is a long time. But we would love some advice.
Awesome video! I love the pace and its so refreshing to go home after traveling and that seems to really come through in this vid! And, well, Colorado is f'in awesome too. Sweet!
Hi Martin, I use Sony Vegas for editing, and the animation was done frame by frame in photoshop. Glad to hear you like the videos...thanks! Randy
