About Bangkok Travel Video: Lonely Planet

From: LonelyPlanet (Subscribe to this user)

Lonely Planet author Joe Bindloss describes the Thai capital of Bangkok as one hell of a city. Tuk-Tuks, river boats, monks, street stall vendors, and traffic all vie for space in this crowded metropolis. And everywhere you look there’s something good to put in your mouth. One of the tastiest capitals on earth!

the comments got cut of but I was just saying that the motorbike taxis bob and weave in and out of traffic. There is nothing worse than being stuck in hot Bangkok traffic inside of a tuk tuk. If you're not afraid, take a motorbike taxi, you'll get there much quicker.

Great vid! I agree, Bangkok is one of the greatest shows on earth... Being there, I felt like I was in a fantasy novel with castles and kings... I expected the monks to start casting spells at any moment. Although I love your video man, I disagree with one thing. I would highly recommend the motor bike taxis MUCH more than a tuk tuk. Not only do the motor bike taxis take you exactly where you want to go (most times), but the traffic there is horendous and the motor bike guys bob and weav...

Great video, I like how you were able to capture the essence of the city in 2 /12 minutes.
